Ravens’ stone or Devil’s stone
An ancient cult site by the river Kraukļupīte. During archaeological excavations in 1974, antiquities were found by the stone.
The stone has got a carved V-shaped gutter and a hole. Several stories tell the stone hides treasures under it- a money chest dug underground during Swedish war. Supporters of esoteric theories believe that this is an artificially set up stone system which reveals at least 28 distinctive signs. The length of the stone 3,9 m, width- 3,8 m, height- 2,0 m. The 40-tonne rock has not sunk in the marshy soil, but bases upon a supportive construction layer of other rocks. The peak of the stone is located precisely in the intersection of 2 powerful Earth energy lines.
