Valgales (Sudmaļu) apakšējais ūdenskritumsSudmaļi waterfalls are located in the Valgale River in Abava Parish, Talsi District, in the territory of the Abava Ancient Valley Nature Park. The Valgale River flows along a 30-meter-deep ravine and shortly before its estuary there are two waterfalls in Abava - the upper and lower Sudmaļi Waterfall. The lower waterfall is very small - 0.3 meters high and 10 meters wide, the upper waterfall is 0.6 meters high and 15 meters wide. Waterfalls have been a protected natural monument since 1957.
