Dūkupju waterfall is located in Nīca district on the Dūkupju stream, which flows into the Bārta river, approximately 100-120 m from the right bank of the Bārta river.
The waterfall is approximately 2.2 m high and consists of two steps. The Dūkupju waterfall flows through the hard but loose layer of the moraine and slowly recedes from the Bārta River every year. This is one of the highest natural waterfalls and the highest moraine waterfall in Latvia.
The waterfall is worth visiting every year, because it will be a little different each time, as it gradually moves away from the Bārta River.
