The Katvari Manor was built in the middle of the 18th century on the shore of the homonymic lake in Vidzeme. It is recognized as an architectural monument of national importance. Between 1920 and 2008, the building housed the Katvari Primary School.
The linden tree alley with a labyrinth in the park behind the manor attracts the greatest attention of tourists and photographers. This place is beautiful at any time of the year and looks like a fairy forest.
Being about 400 years old, the alley reaches 5 meters in width and up to 40 meters in length.
You can also have a walk along the shore here. There are several equipped spots around the lake for fishing, boat rental, picnic and recreation.
