Kronvalda park fountain is the largest fountain in Riga but even more important – it's presented as the first interactive fountain in Europe. Every by-passer can regulate the fountain's water flow with his hand movements. In the dark time of day, fountain creates 7 different color lightings. Fountain was built in 2000, the interactive version – in 2016.
The fountain at Kronwald Park includes 120 water jets of 10mm diameter, a central jet of 75mm diameter (maximum height 5m), 124 underwater floodlights with 3 color lamps each capable of producing 7 individual color tones.
