In the rural municipality of Vāne, at the bend near “Pūces”, a sculpture has been standing for many years now – it is a girl with a summer solstice crown on one arm and three tulips held in the other hand. The author of the sculpture (1951) is the sculptor Lea Davidova-Medene. This work was commissioned in the soviet times by the Highway and Dirt Road Administration.
