Vangaži Evangelical Lutheran Church is an old cultural and architectural monument, surrounded by peaceful countryside scenery.
Vangažu Evangelical Lutheran Church is surrounded by a thick forest and stands on a small hill. Staying on this hill, you can leisurely admire the peaceful sights of countryside scenery, sitting on one of the benches placed around.
The church was opened in 1789 and operated until the beginning of the 20th century when it was destroyed in the war. The passage of time and historical events changed the purposes of use of the building, and only in the early 90s the church regained its original appearance.
The church is small, but very cozy and bright. It is not without reason that many families chose to come here to baptize their children! Even looking at the church from a distance, you will see it radiating a pleasant warmth, inviting visitors to come inside.

Thanks to the good will of the people, donations, support of Inčukalns and Vangaži municipalities, the church was gradually restored. On June 6, 1992, during the Pentecostal service, Pastor Arnis Bergmanis rededicated the church.
