Ruins of Blīdene Lutheran Church

Blīdene Lutheran Church was built in 1617, later the wooden church was torn down and in 1756 a stone church was built in its place. In 1862, a new neo-Gothic church with a 56-meter high tower was built. During World War II, the church was partially destroyed. In 1965, the rest of the building was blown up. Currently, only fragments of the foundation remain.
