Daudzeses Lutheran Church

It is the most remarkable and noble building in the Daudzese parish, built in 1825 as a donation from the Countess Catherine Shuvalova.

The Church survived both world wars, World War I and World War II. During the World War II, the Church was used for German military needs as well it served as a shelter for war refugees.

During the post communism time the Church suffered many materialist damages. A renovation work was performed in 1935. At this time both exterior and interior got uplift. In 1988 the Church finally got electric installed; windows fixed, as well other minor issues fixed.

In summer of 2010 the parish celebrated 185 anniversary of the Church.

The Church is a monument of historical and architectural importance.

Worship is on every first Sunday at 14:00pm
