Romas katoļu Svētās Trīsvienības baznīca, [192-] www.zudusilatvija.lv The foundation stone of the church was laid in 1641 in the presence of Duke Jacob. The church has the most luxurious interior among all the catholic churches of Kurzeme. The church owns many treasures of sacred art, such as the sculpture “Madonna with a Child”, a painted confessional, the pulpit, two Rococo-style side altars and the central altar. Meanwhile “Our Lady of Sorrows” women's monastery has taken up residence in Liepājas street 6 (entrance form the yard) where Dominican Sisters serve.
