Plāņi Manor appeared on the map in 1459 as the von Stromberg family fief.
It has found its way into the military history with the fact that on 8 May 1945, in the master house of the manor, the 24th German infantry division General von Schulz signed a capitulation act, whereby the Kurzeme Fortification ceased to exist.
As early as 1984, the building was in poor technical condition. Today, all the buildings have collapsed.
