In historical sources, the construction of the Lamiņi Manordates back to the 18th–19th centuries, however it obtained its current appearance in the mid-19th century, when it was acquired by a merchant from Riga, Ferman, who ordered to build a new master house.
Along with the construction of the new castle, a park was arranged with decoratively trimmed trees intertwined with pathways, flower beds, and dotted with ponds. In a manor description of the year 1912 it says that this park is a rare model of Old French and Rococo style in the Baltics.
Now in Lamiņi Manor is Dzirciema special boarding school.
