History
Lade primary school was established in 1870 and it experienced many changes right up to 2003 when the school was closed. One of the biggest changes was the construction of the current building in 1935.

In 2015 the school and surrounding territories became a private property and it was renamed Jaunlade Manor. So, we could say that the story of the Manor has started just recently.

The present owner wishes to develop not only the Manor and its life, but also maintain the soul of the school and to share its cultural and historical heritage.

The building came with a unique collection of educational materials that have been put together and restored for the historical exhibition «The Hall of Memories». This contains materials from 1950 until 2003. They bear testimony to the education system in rural Latvia during the 20th century.
